The Durga Puja, also known as Durgotsav and Navaratri that reveres the goddess Durga. Durga Puja is the biggest, greatest and very popular festival in West Bengal. It's celebrated month of Ashvin in the Hindu calendar and September or October of the english calendar. This festival is celebrated for 10 days but people enjoyed the last 5 days that called Shashthi, Saptami, Ashtami, Navami and Dashami. This festival begins on the first day with Mahalaya. This festival celebrations begin in decorated temples and pandals. The festival ends of the tenth day of Vijaya Dashami. This festival is happy time for all and put on new clothes and people also enjoy it.
