It's celebrated at the end of Navratri every year and before Diwali. Dussehra is also known as Vijayadasami or Dasara. It is observed on the full moon day in the Hindu calendar month of Ashvin, which typically falls in the Gregorian months of September and October. Dussehra is celebrated in honour of Rama. Lord Rama killed the demon king Ravana on this day, it's called Ram Lila. Thousands of men, women and children of the nearby regions get together to enjoy this festival in every year.
