Hariyali Teej is a celebration of women. On this day women pray to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva for a happy and successful married life. This festival is celebrated in the month of Shravan month by the Shukla Tritiya in Hindu Calendar. This Festival has special significance in Rajasthan especially in Jaipur. The Hariyali Teej celebration comprises of dancing, singing and swining.
